Exercise, pushing the envelope, the outdoors and a healthy lifestyle are paramount for me but I believe that I'm fairly balanced in that I am completely mellow and content taking in the truly important things in life such as quality time with my someone special, family and friends (actually as much as I can get of you)! Also great food, wine, and the performing arts.

Often, particularly after a race or tackling a mountain/river, I have no problem doing nothing other than drinking beer or savoring a bottle of wine while watching a movie or mindless TV.

Cooking, gardening, turning the music up and strapping on my Air Guitar, organizing & cleaning my gear is also relaxing for me. Haha!

Currently I'm racing Olympic and Half-Ironman distance triathlons, CAT-4 criteriums and road races, as well as half-marathons. I shall miss my open-ocean swimming competitons.

As for the more extreme stuff, I relish climbing the high-elevation mountains, training on frozen waterfalls, and hitting the vertical granite. Whenever possibile, I love getting out on the wild whitewater rivers for rafting, kayaking and camping. I enjoy fishing when they're biting (haha).

I truly enjoy camping--and while camping...preparing feasts, drinking wine, and hiking!

To share in exploring the mountains I haven't climbed, the slopes I haven't skied, and the rivers I haven't yet navigated. To compete in the full Ironman-distance Triathlon. To team up with my girl and/or friends to do a week-long adventure race somewhere cool. To travel to Israel and surrounding Middle Eastern countries as well as Russian and select Eastern European countries. To explore China. To participate in something completely unselfish--something to benefit those less fortunate. To do something big for humanity!
